President Mamnoon Hussain has underscored the need for improvement in the quality and standards of health services related to heart diseases.
The President said this while talking to Maj. Gen ® Masud-ur-Rehman Kiani, Chairman Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH) who called on him along with a delegation of PANAH Trust at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.
The President urged to create awareness among the general public about risks to heart diseases and called for imparting Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training to save the life at the site of occurrence of heart attack. The President appreciated the efforts of PANAH to prevent, minimize and control heart related diseases. The President hoped that PANAH would continue enhancing its capacity to cure the maximum number of heart patients.
