One Nation, One Destination

President Mamnoon Hussain has said that a world full of possibilities awaits Pakistan as Pakistan is poised to achieve prosperity and play a leading role in the region.
The President said this while addressing the National Speech Competition titled “One Nation,
One Destination” on the occasion of celebrations of 50th Anniversary of 6th September, 2015 war at Pak-China Friendship Centre on Wednesday.
The President stated that the present government has taken concrete measures for revival of national economy. The President said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would not only change the fate of Pakistan but also of the whole region. The President hoped that Pakistan would emerge as an important country of the region after the completion of Economic Corridor project.
The President said that a new era of development and progress has also been started in
Balochistan adding that in this regard construction of more than 500 km of roads has been completed and projects like Gwadar Deep Sea Port and Gwadar International Airport have been initiated.
The President said that law and order situation in the country is improving and Operation Zarb-e-Azb for elimination of terrorism is proceeding successfully and producing positive results.
The President advised the students to contribute in the development and progress of the country after completing their studies. The President impressed upon the youth to play a frontline role in eradication of corruption.
