President Mamnoon Hussain has said that imparting of quality education and training to the new generation is the need of the hour for building a better future.
The President said this while talking to a delegation of Kiran and Akhuwat Foundations here at State Guest House on Tuesday. On the occasion, the students from Lyari were also present.
The President called for providing excellent educational facilities for polishing the skills of new generation adding that the government was dedicatedly utilizing all available resources in this regard. He desired that children should be imparted education without any discrimination so that they become good citizens and for this reason it is imperative that they should also be sensitized about Pakistan Movement, history of subcontinent and world history. In this regard a committee to review curriculum was working which will soon present its suggestions, said the President.
The President stated that provision of better environment to new generation for attaining education is our responsibility and work was underway in this regard. The President also lauded the role of Kiran and Akhuwat Foundations in promoting education. On the occasion, the President got mixed up with the children and had candid conversation with them.
